WHAT IS SHINING LIGHTS
COMPETITION TEAM
As most of you know we have competition teams called Shining Lights, that is representing ChaNic at different competitions.
By the Glory of God we reached high potentials with our Shining lights teams. With the Shining Light’s the dancers will learn how to work together as a team – the main purpose of this group is that an opportunities comes along for a function the dancers will be ready and available.
CLASSES
CLASS IS 1 HOUR
Dancers will practice the group routine
There will be firm rules that will apply to every dancer and dancer’s parents – if you know your child is not ready to commit please do not audition. (We as teachers are also very strict with dancers and if you know your dancer won’t be able to cope please give them more time before committing).
SHINING LIGHTS RULES
– If dancer miss more than
2 x classes in month, they
will not be able to
compete in that upcoming
competition
– Monthly Class fees must
be paid – if there is
problem speak to teacher
-Dancers hair must be in a
bun at all times during
class
– No parents in class
– If dancer miss class they
must catch up the work –
that will be send via video
– Teacher’s choreography
and dance ideas are final
HOW IT WORKS
COMPULSORY :
Dancer must do 2 or more dance styles at ChaNic
The groups are competing at different competition, this is not a company but a family – where we train the dancers to compete in nationals and international competitions.
The Shining Lights group will be a selected few Chanic dancers that will form our competing group.
(Any other dancers can still compete at any of the competitions).
